Terms and conditions
These terms apply to every school, teacher and pupil using PagePal, the guided website builder for classrooms.
Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. Who these terms are with
PagePal is a service of Greyphox Digital Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, and provides a website building service for schools at pagepal.school. These terms form an agreement between us and the school whose staff member creates the account ("the school", "you"). The person who signs up confirms they are authorised to accept these terms on behalf of their school.
The service is intended for use by schools and educators, not by children signing up independently.
2. Accounts and pupil logins
- The first person to sign up for a school becomes the school administrator and controls staff access.
- Staff accounts are created by invitation from the administrator, using a school or work email address.
- Pupil logins are created by staff and consist of a username and a password only. No pupil email address is collected.
- You are responsible for keeping sign-in details secure, for distributing pupil passwords appropriately, and for all activity carried out under your school's accounts.
- Pupils must only use PagePal under the supervision arrangements set by their school.
3. Content created on PagePal
The school and its pupils keep ownership of the words and images they add to their websites. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, display, back up and publish that content in order to run the service.
You confirm that content uploaded to PagePal does not infringe anyone else's rights, and that your school has the necessary consents for any photographs of people that are published.
4. Review and publishing
Pupil websites are private until a member of staff at the school reviews and approves them. Approved websites are published at a public address in the form pagepal.school/username/site-name and can be found by anyone with the link or through search engines.
The school is responsible for what it approves for publication. We provide automated checks for offensive language, spam and unsafe file uploads, but these are a safety net and not a substitute for staff review. We may remove or unpublish content that breaches these terms.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not publish offensive, discriminatory, sexual, violent or illegal material.
- Do not publish pupils' personal contact details, home addresses or other information that could put a child at risk.
- Do not upload files that are not genuine pictures, or attempt to bypass the service's safety checks.
- Do not attempt to access other schools' accounts, disrupt the service, or copy the platform itself.
- Do not use PagePal for advertising, commercial promotion or fundraising unrelated to the school.
6. Plans, payment and renewal
- Schools may use the free plan for up to 10 pupil accounts.
- Paid plans are annual and priced by pupil account allowance: up to 50 (£50), 100 (£100), 250 (£250) and 500 (£500) per year.
- Payments are taken securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.
- New pupil accounts are blocked once your plan's allowance is reached, until you move to a larger plan.
- Plans renew annually unless cancelled before the renewal date through the billing area in your workspace.
- Prices include any VAT where applicable and may change with at least 30 days' notice before renewal.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid year, and your school keeps access to its allowance until then. If you cancel within 14 days of a new annual payment and have not substantially used the additional allowance, contact us and we will refund that payment.
On cancellation, paid features stop and the account reverts to the free allowance. Published pupil websites above that allowance may be taken offline.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep PagePal available during school hours and to save pupils' work reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance and updates may occasionally interrupt access. Support is provided by email to school staff, not to pupils.
9. Suspension and ending the agreement
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used to publish unlawful or harmful material, or where payment fails. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact the school administrator first. You may close your school's account at any time by contacting us, and we will delete the account data in line with our privacy policy.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to the fees paid by your school in that period, and we are not liable for loss of data, profits or reputation arising from use of the service. Schools should keep their own copies of important work using the download and PDF options.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to school administrators by email or in the workspace. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@pagepal.school.
